Yukio Kohara, PMP
Yukio Kohara (Kohara san) is a manager in the Vision Frame Promotion Office of the Technical Innovation Center of FFC Limited. Kohara san became an employee of Fujitsu Limited in 1983, and transferred to FFC Limited in 2000.
Kohara san worked as a system engineer and developed factory systems for customers including Fujitsu, Canon, Panasonic, Toyota Motor Corporation and Honda for about 20 years. Kohara san taught project management to employees in Chinese offshore companies by his experience and contributed to planning for PM education of Fujitsu SS in 2002. Kohara san taught "The introduction for PMBOK" in Fujitsu SS in 2003 and 2004.
Kohara san has been a certified Cadence PM Seminar since 2005 and has taught Cadence PM Seminar in Japanese for FFC, Fujitsu SS and other companies. Cadence PM Seminar is refined and condensed global PM training experience for 20 years.
Kohara san was a vice chair in 2003 and a chair in 2004 and 2005 of Global-PM-WG in the Fujitsu SS PM Community. He was also a member of communication protocol WG in Project Management Association of Japan (PMAJ) and gave a presentation about communication protocol for system engineers in PM symposium 2006 by PMAJ—the second biggest PM conference in the world. Kohara san has contributed to projects to develop systems for Toyota Motor Corporation's factories as a represented system engineer of Fujitsu for nine years.
Kohara san has taught the essence of Toyota Production System for Fujitsu SS over 30 times since 2004 and has promoted TPS-WG in Fujitsu SS and PMAJ as a chair and a vice chair.
Kohara san is Fujitsu Certified Professional (PM), PMP certified by PMI, PM in IT certified by the Japanese minister, PM Seminar Leader certified by Cadence Management Corporation, and a member of PMAJ.
